Packaging Solution

Flexible packaging can provide you with numerous benefits, including an attractive appearance, excellent performance, and compatibility with various types of products. Options such as custom pouches and sachets can be tailored to your specific needs, and our team of experts will provide support and guidance throughout the process, from the initial design phase to post-delivery. This helps to ensure a smooth and successful outcome.

High barrier flexible packaging

Clear high-barrier flexible packaging is a valuable option, particularly in the food and beverage industry, as it allows for product visibility while also providing effective protection against oxygen and moisture. In addition to being suitable for vertical and horizontal form/fill/seal processes, it can also be used in premade pouches without the risk of foil fracture that can occur with foil flexible packaging. Another advantage of clear high-barrier flexible packaging is that it can be customized with different barrier and sealant layers, and it can be used for both heat-seal and cold-seal applications. It is also a cost-effective alternative to foil flexible packaging laminations.

Laser Die-cut Applications

Laser die-cut flexible packaging can be used for a variety of products, including snacks, bakery items, deli items, pet treats, grains and cereals, dried meats and fruits, and confectionery items. It is especially useful for applications where the contents of the package need to be visible, as the die-cut window allows for visibility without the need to open the package.

Laser Die-cut

Our proprietary technology utilizes high-speed lasers to create customized windows in paper flexible packaging laminations in roll form using a die-cutting process. This method offers a number of benefits compared to other types of packaging, such as stand-up pouches. One advantage is that it can extend the shelf life of the product due to its improved barrier properties and the ability to be gas flushed. Additionally, it can lead to significant increases in productivity and production savings due to its compatibility with automated packing and its ability to produce more units per hour. It is also more resistant to infestation, as pests are unable to enter the bag due to its heat-sealed construction. Finally, it can be used with modified automated vertical FFS packaging machines and can be easily changed over at a low cost.

Matte and Gloss Application

Matte and gloss effects can be found in a wide range of products across many industries, including food and beverage, cosmetics and beauty, confectionery, nutraceuticals, cannabis, pet food, and personal care. These effects are used to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of these products.

Matte and Glossy Packaging

Matte / Gloss Flexible Packaging

By incorporating matte and gloss effects on your flexible packaging, you can create a more engaging and memorable experience for consumers. These effects can draw attention to certain features or graphics, making them stand out and increasing brand recognition. The three-dimensional look of the packaging can also increase the perceived quality and value of your product, giving it a competitive edge on store shelves. In addition, the matte and gloss combination can create a strong shelf impact, making it more likely for shoppers to pick up and handle the package. Matte and gloss effects on your packaging can be an effective way to differentiate your product in crowded markets and drive sales.

Stick Pack Packaging

stick pack packaging

Stick packs offer a convenient and portable packaging solution for consumers who are always on the go. These single-serve packets are suitable for a variety of products, including powdered drink mixes, nutritional supplements, sweeteners, breath fresheners, powdered broths, condiments, and vitamins. Stick packs are an ideal choice for individuals who need to take their products with them when they are out and about.

Zippered Pouches

Resealable and Zippered Packaging

Consumers will appreciate the convenience and freshness of resealable pouches, while you will benefit from being able to process pre-zippered bags without additional capital investments. Converting to resealable packaging can take much lesser time, allowing you to bring your products to market faster and outperform competitors in your category. Additionally, using resealable packaging allows you to maintain the same processing and production speeds as non-resealable options, and offers flexibility in machine scheduling. These features can also increase the perceived value and quality of your products.

VFFS and HFFS Packaging Film

Vertical form/fill/seal (VFFS) packaging films are designed to be used in a specific process where rollstock is formed into a tube or pouch shape and sealed on the bottom and back. The product is then filled through the top and sealed on the top. VFFS packaging films from Anacotte Packaging are engineered to provide excellent sealing properties and stiffness for use in VFFS equipment. This allows for smooth operation and reduced downtime.

On the other hand, horizontal form/fill/seal (HFFS) packaging films are used in a process that is generally more complex and varies more from one product to the next. The process involves forming rollstock into a package that is partially sealed, filled in-line, and then fully sealed in an automatic process. Our HFFS packaging films are designed for excellent machinability and consistency, which helps to improve efficiency, reduce material waste, and decrease downtime.

Certain HFFS machines, known as flow wrappers, are commonly used for packaging products such as bars. In this process, the product is placed in the flow wrapper and wrapped in packaging film, which is then sealed on both sides and horizontally at the back. Anacotte Packaging's cold-seal and heat seal flexible packaging material is suitable for use in flow wrappers to package heat-sensitive products.
