Collection guide

Coffee and tea packaging guide

Coffee and tea packaging has to protect aroma, support shelf presence, and work across multiple SKU sizes. Buyers usually compare barrier level, valve readiness, resealability, and MOQ before they choose a final format.

Custom coffee and tea packaging bags help roasters and tea brands compare pouch formats, barrier materials, closures and printed designs. Choose the bag around the product, pack size and filling process rather than using the same specification for every roast or tea.

Coffee and tea need different specification checks

Roasted coffee beans: review the degassing plan, valve placement, fill volume, seal area and storage conditions.

Ground coffee: consider grind, aroma protection, opening and resealing, alongside the filling line.

Loose-leaf tea: check leaf volume, crush protection and the barrier needed for the intended storage period.

Tasting samples: use smaller flat pouches sized with the actual serving and enough room for filling and sealing.

Compare formats before choosing the finish

Stand-up pouches and flat-bottom pouches offer different filled shapes. Side-gusset bags are another option for coffee lines. Confirm valve, zipper or tin-tie compatibility for the chosen construction.

Low-MOQ coffee and tea launches

Eligible custom-print projects can be reviewed from 200 pieces. The final minimum depends on size, material, closure, finish and quantity per artwork. Provide a roast or tea SKU list and intended delivery destination so the quote covers the full order.

Questions before ordering

Does every coffee bag need a valve?

Review the roast, packing schedule, gas release and distribution conditions with your production team. A valve is a specification choice, not a replacement for a suitable barrier film and reliable seals.

Can coffee and tea use the same bag dimensions?

Only after checking the actual fill volume and required headspace. The same net weight can occupy very different volumes.

Request a coffee or tea packaging quote with net weight, product sample or volume, valve and closure preferences, quantity per SKU and artwork status.
