Packaging decision guide
Compliance & Certification Hub
Compliance & Certification Hub helps buyers compare packaging options, material trade-offs, MOQ paths, and quote inputs before choosing a pouch, film, or custom structure.
Share product type, fill weight, target quantity, material or barrier needs, artwork status, and launch timing. Anacotte can shortlist the practical structure before you over-spec the order.
Start an RFQCompare material, barrier, print, closure, and sustainability trade-offs before locking a spec.
Send product details, size target, quantity, and timing for a tighter quote.
Documentation for your packaging project
Packaging requirements depend on the exact material structure, finished pouch, product, process and destination market. Use this hub to prepare a documentation request and agree on the evidence needed before production or artwork approval.
Documentation status: This page does not publish product-specific certificates or test reports. It does not establish that every Anacotte product is certified or suitable for every application. Ask us to confirm which documents are available for the exact packaging specification you are considering.
What to include in your request
- The product or page link, intended use, fill volume and target pouch format.
- The proposed film structure, thickness, printing, adhesive, coating and any spout, cap, zipper or valve.
- Product characteristics relevant to packaging, such as acidity, oil content, viscosity and particles.
- Filling and processing conditions, storage conditions, intended shelf life and distribution route.
- The destination market and any certification, customer standard or on-pack claim you need to support.
Evidence to review for the selected specification
Material and finished-pack identification
Request the specification that identifies the film layers, thickness, components and intended use. Check that supporting documents refer to the same material grade, construction and finished packaging as your order.
Food-contact and application suitability
For food-contact projects, ask which supplier declarations and test reports are available, what materials they cover, and which contact conditions were evaluated. Match the evidence to the actual food, contact time, temperature and processing method. A general material description is not a substitute for application-specific review.
Compostability, recyclability and sourcing claims
Before using a certification mark or environmental claim, request the certificate or assessment, holder, covered products, validity and conditions of use. A raw-material certificate should not be assumed to cover the finished printed pouch and all its components. Confirm the applicable disposal route and local collection or processing availability.
Bio-based content, biodegradability, industrial compostability and home compostability describe different characteristics. Confirm the evidence and conditions for the specific claim rather than treating these terms as interchangeable.
Package performance
Define the validation plan with the actual product and selected packaging: filling compatibility, seal integrity, closure fit, leakage, handling, transport and storage. Ask which results already exist for the proposed configuration and which tests still need to be completed. Do not infer shelf life or process suitability from an empty sample alone.
Specialized closures and safety-related applications
If your project requires child-resistant or other safety-related performance, request evidence for the exact closure and finished package, intended users and destination market. A product name, cap size or visual sample does not establish that performance.
How to check a certificate or test report
- Confirm the issuing organization, certificate or report number, named holder and covered product.
- Check the issue date, expiry or current status, test method and any limitations.
- Match the tested sample, material structure, dimensions and components to the specification being ordered.
- Review the measured results and conditions, including any changes that would require a new assessment.
- Confirm whether the claim or mark may be used on your finished packaging and sales materials.

Request a documentation review
Send your packaging specification and required claims through our contact page, or include them in your custom packaging quote request. Ask for written confirmation of document availability, scope and any remaining validation before approving production.
