Start with how the product behaves and how the pack will be filled. Artwork and finish come after the functional package has a defensible direction.
Viscosity, particles, oil, acidity, aroma, oxygen or moisture sensitivity, intended shelf life and process temperature.

Anonymous project evidence
A personal-care refill project used 250–300 mL sampling to compare pouch geometry, fitment direction and user handling before production. The case is intentionally anonymized: it documents the packaging brief, validation points and next decisions without exposing customer identity, branding, formula, order value or sales data.

Some eligible digital-print projects can start from 200 units. The workable MOQ depends on pouch size, film structure, fitment, cap, print coverage, number of SKUs, testing requirements and whether the components can share one specification family. It is not a universal MOQ for every project.
Often, yes—especially when the SKUs share pouch size, material, fitment, cap and finish. Artwork differences can then be evaluated as a grouped multi-SKU digital-print project.
Provide the machine model, nozzle and holder drawings, pouch orientation, expected line speed, fill temperature, viscosity and cap-application process. Representative samples should then be tested on the intended line before final approval.
Digital printing is usually the first route to evaluate for shorter runs, multiple SKUs and artwork iteration. Flexographic or rotogravure production may become more economical when designs stabilize and repeat volume grows. The right comparison uses total project cost, not unit price alone.
