Low MOQ custom packaging works best when the buyer treats the first order as a controlled test, not a cheaper version of a bulk order. The supplier still needs clear information. The brand still needs a sample approval process. The packaging still has to survive filling, shipping, storage, and shelf presentation.

Build the quote brief around SKUs

Send the supplier a SKU table. It should show the pouch format, size, target fill weight, artwork file status, quantity per design, finish, and any shared structure across designs. A quote for 1,000 bags across five artworks is different from 1,000 bags of one artwork.
